How to Treat Acne Scars

by Danna Finnerand

The purpose of scar treatments is to give the skin a more acceptable physical appearance. Total restoration of the skin, to the way it looked before you had acne, is often not possible, but scar treatment does usually improve the appearance of your skin.

The best way to avoid scarring is to treat acne as soon as possible, and as long as necessary. If scars form, several effective treatments are available. Dermatologic surgery treatments should be discussed with a dermatologist.

Organic Ingredients - Beneficial to Acne Treatment

To fight acne scars, your best option is a natural skin care cream. Using it regularly, it should both dissolve damaged tissues and substitute them with newly created healthy skin cells. It also should fight skin infection and avoid scarring. The time period necessary to yield full results will depend on how severe is the scarring.

A particularly good product should contain a natural substance that is both an enzyme that stimulates metabolic effects and a signal transduction protein that triggers the process of skin repair and skin remodeling.

The metabolic effect makes reference to specially complex sequences of controlled biochemical modification of chemical compounds in living organisms and cells. This includes the biosynthesis of intricate biological molecules (anabolism) and their breakdown (catabolism).

Protein catabolism is the breakdown of proteins into amino acids and simple derivative compounds, for transport into the cell through the plasma membrane and ultimately for the polymerisation into new proteins via the use of ribonucleic acids (RNA) and ribosomes.

Through these metabolic mechanisms enzymes are capable of quickly reducing the swelling or edema of traumatized or wounded tissues by actually "digesting" or breaking down damaged tissues and unfunctional cells at the site of injury, allowing these residual materials to be eliminated quickly from skin injuries so as to alleviate inflammation and subsequent pain, accelerating the healing process and promoting regeneration of tissue to then happen more quickly.

Biologically, signal transduction is any process by which a cell transforms one type of signal or stimulus into another. Processes called signal transductions often involve a sequence of biochemical reactions inside the cell, which are conduced by enzymes and associated through second messengers. These processes take place in as little time as a millisecond or as long as a few seconds. In transduction processes, an important number of enzymes and other elements become involved in the events that proceed from the initial stimulus. In cases like this one the chain of steps is called a "signalling cascade" and usually results in a small stimulus generating a large response.

Biological substances used to elaborate some skin care solutions include a complex mucin with organic peptides that control acne infection, skin regenerating peptides that shrink scar tissues and avoid and repair scarring, and enzymes that dissolve damaged cells, halt inflammation and trigger skin regeneration.

A new and biological skin care treatment is now available to treat all kinds of acne scarring without undesirable side effects. In our web you'll find all about its organic ingredients and how they can help you to recover your old skin.
